Life on a small Orkney island, off the North coast of Scotland
What a lovely unobstructed view.Worth staying up until after 10PM to see. You will take more photos on the summer solstice, won't you?
Swoon. I need to come visit you again.
Violet - here's hoping for clear skies! But Yes!Mary - yes you DO need to come and visit again. This time I'll try and arrange sunshine. I can still see your face as you stood outside the wreck of a house in the cold and mist and asked "Tell me again why you chose to come and live here?" LOL!
yeah - let's see more sunsets!!It's not just the sunset, but the land and sea setting as well!
Throughstones - I know, there is something just magical about a coastal sunset. I'm so lucky to be able to witness so many. Though like most things in nature - they are unpredictable. I can sit watching hoping for something spectacular and it fades before my eyes and another night it just catches me by surprise.
