Interlude....

While the storm rages and I may unplug my modem for safety, here's a "surf's up" interlude.  Some lads were in Orkney a while ago and filmed their surfing experience.  Here is their film.

  1. Hoping you and Button weather the storm well and come out smiling. I am so enjoying your blog (originally discovered as research for my new novel).

  2. I was a California girl and never realized surfing was done in the UK, but the film was fantastic. Hope all is well as your storm passes. So nice meeting you! First visit, but not the last. I followed you.

    1. The most popular place for surfing is off Cornwall and Devon in the South West of England but those who like to push the boundaries apparently love surfing in Orkney! Thanks for much for stopping to comment and welcome to Graemsay! I'm not always good at replying to comments. Or indeed posting. I do in my head but.....sigh

  3. Be safe as the storm passes through. I live in a surfing community in California, the big waves are sought after.
