Because today (Sunday) there IS a big parade in Kirkwall which will end with more wreath laying at the Cathedral. I think there may be similar in Stromness too. I'm just back from the wreath-laying and 2 minutes silence at the war memorial in Tongue, followed by a remembrance-themed church service.
