More weather approaching....
Just in case I'm "offline" for a few days..... current weather forecast for tomorrow from the Orcadian website is: "Early rain clearing to frequent blustery showers by morning, these heavy with a mix of rain, hail or sleet with the chance of thunder. Severe F9 or storm F10 W’ly winds, possibly violent storm F11 later with gusts to 80mph. Winds veering WNW’ly and easing a little overnight, but remaining very gusty."
Currently blustery with hail showers. Phones off and power fluctuations..... retreating under duvet again! Stay safe and warm everyone!

Stay safe, Sian. I thought of you as soon as I heard the lunchtime forecast.
ReplyDeleteBattens hatches. If you need reinforcements I can aim a shopping bag n a balloon in your direction seconds before you want it to land. :) keep warm.
ReplyDeleteTake care and stay warm. The weather sounds desparate. Be safe.
ReplyDeleteHope you ride it out okay. Those arrows on the weather forecast today looked pretty nasty.
ReplyDeletethinking of you guys stay safe
ReplyDeleteThanks Weegie Wummin! Love that name!! Thanks for visiting. Do come again in calmer weather :-)
DeleteI've heard of tornado ratings from F1 to a max of F5 but not in reference to a storm. Gusts of 80 mph are pretty crazy. Stay safe and report back after it's all over.
ReplyDeleteIt's known as the Beufort Scale for Wind : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beaufort_scale
DeleteAnd yes it was pretty scary!
