Sunrise!
It's VERY unusual for me to see sunrise anytime but mid-winter, when it is at a reasonable time of 9am! Now the sun is rising about 5.45am. and I only get to see it thanks to Madam Button who sometimes feels the need to share the sunrise with me..... This one was taken a few days ago. After three days of glorious sunshine we have the haar (sea mist), though it's expected to clear later.

Sian, that is just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYes - not often spotted past mid-winter - the lesser spotted Sian in summer plumage ;-)
Deletethis is the time i usualy get up but dont have that beautiful sunrise and viow
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness you ARE an early riser. I'm afraid I'm more of a night owl. I could happily stay in bed to 10am every day!
DeleteIs there any better scene than that? I love the pink water as the sun appears. Wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed I had the presence of mind to find the camera and open the window and then get the shot in focus given the time :-)
DeleteSadie encouraged me to see 5am this morning, so I witnessed our sunrise. It was not as beautiful as your picture, but it will do, since there was no rain in the air.
ReplyDeleteI do like the freshness of very early mornings - as long as I can go back to bed ;-)
DeleteWhat a wonderful photo, Sian. It was misty here too this morning after a gorgeous day yesterday and now we're having hazy sunshine.
ReplyDeleteHpe you have not been plagued by the fog we've had for the last couple of days. Fed up with it now!
DeleteNo fog here, but we're back to the rain. Sigh....
Deleteview?

DeleteLOL I am glad Buttons woke you up for the sunrise because it is lovely!!
ReplyDeleteI notice I am getting up an hour earlier now as Spring arrives...along with the 6 A.M. 1st breakfast for Nylablue of course ;)
Hope you had a wonderful Easter.
Sherri-Ellen & Nylablue
Yes Easter was sunshine (and chocolate) filled. Yes Button's "first breakfast" (love that expression!) is often about that time but usually I'm too bleary eyed to notice anything.
Deletevery nice ! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Babzy!
DeleteWhat's that tall building?
ReplyDeleteOooh why, it's a lighthouse....did I not mention I live next door to a lighthouse? Not that you'd notice at the moment due to the fog!
