Santa comes to Graemsay!

Yes it's that time of year again and I'm aware I have been very silent! Hope to make up for it now!  Here are some photos of Santa making a visit to Graemsay to give the children some early Christmas presents.  He arrived with an Elf choir, Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus.

He was a very genial Santa!  And was pleased to meet two new elves....

Meanwhile the Elf choir sang Jingle Bells and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer while Mary and Joseph looked on...

A wee Graemsay elf says thanks Santa!

And more presents from Santa!

Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus look a bit chilly!  A long way from home for them.  But we'd find room for them on Graemsay......

And after Santa and all his friends had left, we all adjourned to the waiting room to watch the children open their presents.  There were books and toys and a TEDDY!  I nearly stole the teddy....

Then some of us headed up to the community hall to put up the decorations for the Christmas party later this week.  It's all go at the moment!

  2. What a cool it was for children to see Santa. I'd like my little sister to see him, too. I'd like to see him as well.
