A calm day.....

Despite some stormy days this week we've also had some lovely sunny calm ones. Not bad for Autumn in Orkney.   Above taken on a stroll on the coral beach....

And here is a short video of those gentle waves on the shore....

    1. Glad you enjoy the blog. Love your site. But I don't really have much to do with horses on my blog (though I used to have ponies in the past) but thanks for asking.

  5. I sometimes, in the winter (well, the Florida winter!) just go to the beach to hear the waves. I find it soul refreshing.

    1. Hope you were OK with the last hurricane! But usually I find the beach a very calming place.

Wow! I think i could listen to that all day! I'm near Lake Superior; it's rarely that quiet.

    1. Other beaches around Graemsay are much noisier! Especially the one at the West end.... but we are a bit more sheltered at Sandside.
