Graemsay Christmas Party
Friday night was Party Night on Graemsay with the island Christmas party. And Santa came to visit too of course....
A bit of sibling rivalry in the balloon game (keep the balloon in the air up and down the hall...)
And the team snowball game was hotly contested (newspaper instead of snow balls!)
The Ferror Rocher and spoon race....
Grudge match this one!
The fish flapping race - very tricky....
Musical arms....
Then it was time for Santa to visit. Having a chat with his helper...
Never to old to give Santa a hug...
Or sit on his knee.....
And look what I won in the raffle! YUSS!!!!!
There were other games, and a lovely supper too. I came home about 11 but other stayed on until 1am. So I think it's safe to say a good time was had by all!

Great fun, young and old joining in. Was the entire population of the island there?
ReplyDeleteThere were 3 or 4 folk unable to come for various reasons otherwise yes we were all there! Hope you have a peaceful Christmas and New Year (or a riotous one if you prefer!!).
Delete...forgot to add, Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThank you :-)
DeleteLovely event! We have various Christmas celebrations in our village, but nothing for the whole village. Mind you, it tends to be the same people who join in with all of them! Merry Christmas, and thanks for your blogs and lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are enjoying the photos. Most people will attend our events, unless other commitments keep them away. It's good that they do as we are so few in number it's very noticeable when folk are missing.
